Get acquainted with traditional Chinese folk crafts at the Ulster Museum. 

Explore the rich traditions of Chinese folk art from round silk fan painting to shadow puppetry in the atrium. Watch artisans from Beijing, Shanghai, and Hebei demonstrate different crafts throughout the morning. Discover Cloisonné, facial makeup (Lianpu) and traditional inner painting (Neihua). 

You'll be guided by the artists as you make your own Chinese folk art souvenirs to bring home! Cut paper window flowers, draw facial masks and create shadow puppets.
