We're welcoming Young at Art to Ulster Museum as part of Belfast Children's Festival this March! 

Shall we… laugh, watch and play together? | 12th to 14th March 

This performance focuses on encounters. The encounter between two dancers balancing each other, as well as the encounter between young children, adults and senior citizens. 

Shall we… together is a performance where two dancers challenge each other to push boundaries. Throughout the performance, the encounter grows. At the start, the audience takes seats facing each other, the stage surface with the two dancers lies between them. In this way, the audience not only watches the dancers, they watch each other too.

After the performance, the audience is brought together during an interactive moment for play. They explore together.

Suitable for ages 3+. Performances will last around 25 minutes and take place on the following dates and times: 

  • Thurs 12th March - 10:15, 11:45
  • Fri 13th March - 10:15, 11:45
  • Sat 14th March - 11:00, 14:00

Belfast Children's Festival: LOOP - 8th March

Watch dance performance LOOP in Ulster Museum on Sunday 8th March from 11:00 to 15:00. LOOP is a vibrant dance performance where three dancers create a shared world through movement, trust, and play. Audiences are invited into a space that transforms into a playground of imagination and connection. It celebrates teamwork, curiosity, and the joy of moving together.

Belfast Children's Festival: Drop - 8th March

Drop is a street theatre proposal where nouvelle magic and contemporary clowning go together. Manipulation of objects, physical theatre and comedy in a silence that speaks with a poetic, sensitive and mischievous language. A look for what becomes a symbol of life: a glass of water. Watch street theatre at the Ulster Museum on Sunday 8th March from 12:00 to 14:00.
