Discover the weird world of worms at the Ulster Museum! 

We're hosting an evening lecture all about worms on Wednesday 19th November in the Ulster Museum Lecture Theatre with talks from three experts; 

  • 19:00 to 19:30 - The Weird World of Worms by Emma Sherlock
  • 19:30 to 20:00 - Meet Northern Ireland’s Earthworms by Keiron Derek Brown
  • 20:00 to 20:30 - Coffee & tea break, network and chat in the foyer.
  • 20:30 to 21:00 - The New Zealand Flatworm by Archie Murchie 

This evening lecture is for anyone interested in earthworms, and learning more about the invasion of the New Zealand Flatworm. All welcome!

What to know

Tickets are £5 per person, and this talk is for ages 18+. Please note, the rest of the Ulster Museum will be closed so you will only have access to the Lecture Theatre.

This lecture is open to everyone with any level of species identification experience. 

This event is ran by Centre for Environmental Data and Recording (CEDaR), and in partnership with Biological Recording Company (BRC) 

Doors open at 18:30. The talks take place from 19:00 to 21:00 with some time at the end to chat and network!
