The Royal Ulster Academy Annual Exhibition returns to the Ulster Museum!

We’re delighted to welcome the Royal Ulster Academy (RUA) back to the Ulster Museum for the 144th Annual Exhibition of Art.

This landmark exhibition is one of the highlights of Northern Ireland’s cultural calendar, bringing together an inspiring mix of established names and emerging talent. Visitors can explore over 300 works of art across painting, sculpture, ceramics, print and textiles.

Alongside pieces by RUA Academicians, the exhibition also features artworks selected from open submissions, showcasing artists from across the world right here in the Ulster Museum.

Founded in 1879, the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts is the largest and longest-established body of practising visual artists in Northern Ireland, with a founding mission to present an annual exhibition of members’ and non-members’ work - a tradition that continues to this day.
