Handle objects in our free, Family Focus Sessions on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th November from 14:00 to 15:00.
The Discovery Centres are here for you to explore our museum collections in a new and exciting way. Investigate objects across art, nature and history in our drop-in interactive sessions.
On Saturday 8th November, get introduced to an early print process called Etching in Discover Art. Uncover why some animals hibernate in Discover Nature. Have you heard of the Armagh Rhymers? Connect with the tradition of Mummer's Masks in Discover History.
On Sunday 9th November, paint your own watercolour portrait in Discover Art. Uncover the link between Alfred Nobel and earth minerals in Discover Nature, and play with optical toys in Discover History.
Our Family Focus Sessions are free to join, no booking needed. Drop into Discover History on Level 1, Discover Nature on Level 3, and Discover Art on Level 5.
