Let's discover something new! Get hands-on with museum objects in our Discovery Centres as you learn, create and explore - the perfect way to spend an afternoon with the family. 

Saturday 7th February 

Find out why birds eggs are different colours and study them up close in Discover Nature. Try your hand at drawing skulls in Discover Art and have a go at playing Mancala, an African board game, in Discover History. 

Sunday 8th February 

Learn all about baleen, the filter than allows whales to sieve sea water for it's favourite food like plankton, in Discovery Nature. Handle possessions belonging to Betty Avery in Discover History and make that special someone a Valentine's card in Discover Art.
